WHO ARE WE?
OUR STORY
The WPA NECA Electrician Emergency Support Program was founded on September 1, 2018, with seed capital from the Western Pennsylvania Chapter, NECA. Our desire is to create a support program by looking at electricians as members of a single, local community where everyone has the opportunity to build a life regardless of the hardships they face.
Our hope is to continue to grow the fund through the generosity of electrical contractors and with the support of a community of philanthropists willing to take a bet on a new approach.
OUR FOUNDERS
Since 1946, the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of NECA has empowered lives and communities by providing its members with an effective agency through which to express their collective voice on issues affecting the electrical construction industry. Today the chapter represents qualified, reliable, and experienced contractors throughout Western Pennsylvania. We represent the very best the electrical world has to offer.
WPANECA provides specialized expertise and services to member contractors in education, training, labor negotiations, networking, community outreach, legislative representation and regulatory interpretation. We have a commitment to be the leading professional resource for the advancement of the electrical trades and to promote the opportunities for those who join the industry.
